destination mars was about going mars in about 6 months.in addition,it costed billions of dollars to take a trip to mars.The NASA is a agency, a space angency that learns more about space so they can tell the world what they discovered.
ReplyDeleteI picked this article because sometimes its important to know whats happening in space for instents, if a meteor is coming and we dont know where it might land someone can die.In addition,it is a little cool to see space and to see planets that are new to the world like planet x
ReplyDeleteI agree with Avery when he said that it's cool to see space and to see planets that are new to the world because it shows humans curiosity about the world outside Earth. An important detail I found from this artice was that "In 2004, President George W. Bush announced a new goal: return humans to the moon by 2020." I think this is an important detail because it shows that again we are curious and trying to make plans to enhance our curiosity. It also tells me that people, before the study came to be, weren't so scared about 2012 because they were and still are making plans to do things after so I am wondering why they are scared about it now.
ReplyDeleteI choose this article because i like reading about planets and if we are going to visit the planets or not.Now NASA is a U.S space agencythat supports us going to space.An imporant event that happened for NASA was when Neil Amstrong went to the moon.This was a very important event.As for mars I do think that we will go to mars.I think this because we have the technology to go to mars.An important detail thet people should know was that president bush said that we would go to space in 2020 which is a very long time.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Daniel that when Neil Amstrong went to the moon it was a huge event and hopefully we can set foot on mars like we did on the moon. I sorta disagree i think that we won't be able to go to mars for a long time. Maybe our technology just needs a tune-up.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maggie. Traveling to mars seems highly impossible! Still I bellieve if we were able to travel to the moon then it can be possible. One detail I found interesting in this article is that mars is 34 million miles from the earth compared to the sun that's about 240,000 miles from the earth. That's a big difference.
